Villa Paterno, a dreamy location in the countryside near Florence
If you are looking for an amazing wedding venue in Tuscany in the famous Chianti region, near Florence, Antica Fattoria Paterno is what you need. This gorgeous villa is a dream for wedding photography. The villa is suitable for big weddings and offers also a great indoor solution, in case of rain.
When you arrive at the villa, you pass through a long cypress tree alley, immersed in the typical Tuscan countryside, that will set the mood. As soon as you enter the big gate, you will walk a long alley, surrounded by flowers and you will see the first part of the big garden.
There’s a little square, called “Piazzetta del Giubileo”, immersed in the green ivy and jasmine, a real bijoux! There’s also a “secret” door, covered by plants, that leads to the other part of the garden, with a big pool and the main villa. This area is perfect for wedding photos since usually, it’s not open to wedding guests and where you will find a cypress tree alley, the sky pool and a beautiful little church with a cute little square.
Inside the building, there are three big areas: the aperitif/dancing room, the terrace and the dining room. The dancing and dining rooms can be closed with glass windows, so this location may be also recommended for winter weddings, while the terrace can easily contain 80-90 guests in summer, for your wedding ceremony, with an amazing view on the Tuscan countryside.
