Destination wedding in Tuscany in an ancient burg near Florence
Destination weddings are one of my favourite kind of marriages. Photographing a couple amazed by the gorgeous countryside around Florence and Tuscany, it’s always a wonderful experience.
Angela & Dean are a beautiful couple that chose Certaldo for their civil wedding. This town is a great example of the beauty of little Tuscan medieval burgs (if you are interested to see more of this town, follow the link at the end of this post): ancient red brick walls and buildings, make this village a special destination for every destination wedding. The couple got prepared in Poderi Arcangelo, a beautiful structure surrounded by the hills, which is perfect also for symbolic weddings!
All the wedding guests then went to Certaldo, for the celebration of the civil ceremony in the characteristic town hall.
After the marriage, I took the bride and groom around the town and in the close natural park to get some beautiful wedding photos in the Tuscan hills and countryside and it was really amazing! The couple was really natural and the special location did the rest.
At dinner, the tables were decorated with olive tree branches, flowers and wine bottles with candles, with little bottles of limoncello (a typical Italian liqueur) as wedding favours.
A cute cupcake cake and a romantic first dance ended the wedding, with a happy newlywed couple!
