Elegant wedding by the sea in Tuscany
The beautiful colours of the sand and the water give a special look to every photo and that’s why, as a wedding photographer, I love shooting weddings by the sea.
Before arriving at the hotel where Emanuele was going to get ready, I went to the reception venue, Bagno Alpemare, owned by the famous Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli. Tiffany is the main colour of this venue and it merges perfectly with the colours of the sand, a great choice for a wedding by the sea in Tuscany.
The groom chose a hotel near the dome to get ready. Helped by its friends everything went amazingly. Its blue tailored suit, designed by Sartoria Rossi in Rome, was really elegant and the bow tie gave the final touch!
Lavinia chose to get ready in the house of her parents, surrounded by friends. As soon as I arrived she gave me all the details and everything was super-organized (I love this kind of weddings!). Every detail was perfect, from the shoes to the hanger, where the bride put their names and wedding date. The makeup was perfect for her and, after having put her dress on, she was a gorgeous bride.
The bride arrived at the Dome of Pietrasanta on a white convertible beetle. The religious ceremony was really beautiful, also because this ceremony location is stunning!
After the ceremony there was the traditional rice throw and, after a few shots in front of the beautiful turquoise doors of the Dome, we went to the reception venue, Bagno Alpemare, in Forte dei Marmi. It was almost sunset and I took them to the beach to shoot some photos with the warm light of the sun and the sea.
The dinner was set up with a long imperial table on the beach, with string lights hanging, that gave a unique atmosphere to this wedding on the beach! The bridesmaids were dressed in Tiffany colour, the main colour of the venue and I had much fun shooting with them and Lavinia!
After dinner the bride and groom launched a sky lantern, followed by their guests, then they cut a five-tier wedding cake while beautiful fireworks light up the sky behind them!
The first dance, under hanging candles, was very romantic and everyone could feel the love of this great couple!
