If you have the chance to visit this amazing place, we have prepared a short list of the most beautiful photoshooting locations in Manarola:

1. The stunning gulf

We have already talked about this beautiful gulf and it may look that we are exaggerating a little, but have a look yourself, isn’t it amazing? The warm pastel colours of the houses are the perfect background for every photo (your Instagram profile will love this!)

2. The beautiful sea and the rocks

The sea of Manarola (and all other villages of Cinque Terre) is great. Here you can find gorgeous cliffs where you can have a great and characteristic engagement or wedding photos  You’ll remember its intense blue colour for the rest of your life!

3. The street to the hill

There is a beautiful street that goes up to the hill that leads to the cemetery of Manarola, from which you can get a beautiful point view of the town. It’s a little bit hard to get to, but it worth all the effort.

4. Nessun Dorma

This little bar is located exactly on the hill that faces the gulf. As photographers in Manarola we’ve shot many wonderful proposal and engagement photos in this location. Think about having a glass of prosecco with the stunning gulf in front of you, charming! (see point 1 again. Yes, we love this place!)

5. The terrace over the sea

This beautiful terrace is located right below the Nessun Dorma and goes all around the cliff. From here you’ll have a wonderful view of all the Ligurian sea.

How to get to Manarola

The best way to get to Manarola is by train. You can take the train from La Spezia Centrale (there’s one every 30 mins) or Genoa. As soon as you arrive at the station, you’ll find a long tunnel that will lead you to the main street. Turn left and cross the main square of the town, continue to the end of the street to find yourself at the harbour, from where you can explore the village.
