We’d like to give you three reasons why a wedding in these regions may be the best idea for your wedding.

In Tuscany and Cinque Terre, there are literally hundreds of choices for your wedding venue. Depending on your tastes you may choose an authentic rustic “Casale” (old farm) in the countryside or a luxury villa in the centre of Florence. If you are more into the idea of a wedding by the sea and love the authentic taste of little villages, Cinque Terre are amazing! Yes, the fabled Tuscan countryside is one of the most famous in the world and it’s amazing for the photos, of course, but there are also many other locations to consider. In Tuscany, there are a lot of little medieval burgs, almost unknown, where you can have unique wedding photos or beautiful natural parks where you can celebrate your al fresco wedding. We know that this reason may won’t be enough for you to choose Tuscany or Cinque Terre for your wedding but think about this: the reception is an important part of the wedding too. Think about your guests who (very likely) haven’t ever been to Italy, wouldn’t be a great gift to them to let them experience the amazing Italian food? Here in Tuscany (I swear we're not biased!) we have the luck to have a great variety of food thanks to the geography of this region: from the mountains and all the typical food (like mushrooms, wild animals, etc) to the fishes of the coast, in Tuscany you’ll find everything you’d ever want to taste!
In Cinque Terre the selection is less varied but the seafood is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! If you are more into pasta, the famous Pesto sauce is originally from here!

-If you haven’t experience in organizing weddings and/or you don’t have a lot of time, hire a wedding planner

Unfortunately, there are a lot of people out there that don’t do a great job, but since we had the pleasure to work with a lot of great vendors, if you desire, we may help you with some trusted recommendations.
-Choose seasonal and local food
We know that we’ve talked a lot about food in this post, however, when you come in another country, it’s difficult to know what food is really typical and what is only “touristic” food. Choose a good caterer who can tell you exactly what foods are typical of that area and what are the best seasonal foods available.
-Don’t trust who offers too much for a little price
This doesn’t mean that you should spend a lot for your wedding but, for example, if they are offering you a venue with the catering included and the cost is suspiciously low, there may be something wrong. See online reviews and ask your trusted professionals if everything is ok.
